5K Hustle "For the Hill of It"

For the Hill of It

Join us on Saturday, November 8, 2014 for this scenic run through the rolling hills of our campus. Register online or download the 5K Hustle "For the Hill of It" registration form.

Participants will receive a special Sport towel, admission to the Post Race Party which includes food, beverages and door prizes.

Cash prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall finishers for both men and women. Medals will be award to 1st, 2nd and 3rd finishers in a variety of age groups.

The event is sponsored by GNP Realty Partners LLC, Sedona Group, Midwest Therapy Centers, Rock Valley Physical Therapy, Friendship Manor, IMPACT Illowa Construction Labor & Management Council, and Slugger’s Pizza.

Each autumn we bring together our generous scholarship donors and student scholarship recipients to meet each other and share their stories. This event is by invitation only.

More than 100 students, donors and Black Hawk College staff members gathered recently for the Foundation’s Annual Black Hawk College Foundation Scholarship Banquet.

More than 125 students received scholarships from the Black Hawk College Foundation.

Hall of Fame

Biannually, the Black Hawk College Hall of Fame event is an opportunity to promote pride in the college and its students. Inductees are chosen based on outstanding success and distinction in their chosen field, humanitarian service and completion of at least 30 college credit hours at Black Hawk College.
