Applying for a scholarship at Black Hawk College is simple.
When are applications accepted? What is the deadline?
The deadline for the 2014-2015 academic year was May 1, 2014.
Applications are NOT be accepted after the deadline.
How will I know if I will receive a scholarship?
Applicants will be notified, via e-mail, in late June if you have received a scholarship(s).
What scholarships are available?

Can I apply for more than one scholarship?
Yes. Simply follow the online instructions during the application process. The last step of the online process will list each scholarship you qualify for, based on the information you enter. You must select each scholarship you wish to apply for.
Can I be awarded more than one scholarship?
Yes. Be sure you qualify for the scholarship(s) you are interested in.
Can I apply via a paper application?
No. You must apply online.
Will you contact me?
We will communicate with you periodically via the e-mail address you entered on the online application. Please be sure to provide an address you actively use.
How will I receive my scholarship award?
Scholarship awards will be applied to your Black Hawk College account, and will be divided equally between the Fall and Spring semesters.
